Corona Virus in India The Covid-19 virus is spreading at a very rapid pace in India. Today India is the country with highest covid-19 cases with more than 6 Million cases and over 90 thousand deaths. Death is not the only loss that we Indian have faced. There is an exponential effect on the lives of Indians due to lack of food supply, unemployment, failure of local government and its leading a tremendous pressure as an effect on the citizens. It is very important for NGOs, local government bodies and leaders to come up with awareness programs, providing reliefs by giving away essentials, and help people get employment to normalize its effects. As soon as the lockdown started, from day one, Roadside Family Foundation is on grounds, providing masks, sanitizers, gloves, cooked meals and ration kits, creating awareness among the residential on how to manage themselves to reduce the effect of the pandemic. We made sure that no family sleeps hungry and with help of our volunteer we made it possible. Unlock period has started, life in cities are restarting. But things are still not normal, actually its new normal. We still have a long way to go, things are going to remain same for next few years.
